1. 적용 범위 및 운영자

본 개인정보처리방침은 허준녕(서비스명: Brainpill, 이하 “운영자”)이 제공하는 Yonsei Neurology 모바일 애플리케이션(패키지명 io.brainpill.yn, 이하 “앱”)과 관련 서비스에 적용됩니다. 앱은 의료기관 내 승인된 사용자를 위한 업무 보조 도구이며 일반 소비자 또는 환자용 서비스가 아닙니다.

2. 처리하는 정보

사용하는 기능과 사용자가 부여한 권한에 따라 다음 정보가 처리될 수 있습니다.

계정 및 사용자 프로필: 이름, 휴대전화번호, 이메일(선택), 소속 부서, 역할, 내부 디렉터리 식별자 및 인증 식별자
기기 및 앱 정보: 기기 플랫폼·모델 등 기본 기기 정보, Firebase 인증 토큰, 푸시 알림 토큰, 알림 및 당직 설정, 앱 작동 기록과 오류 정보
업무 및 임상 데이터: 당직 일정, 연락 대상, 환자 이름·등록번호·진료 위치, 뇌졸중 및 시술 시간, NIHSS·tPA·EVT 관련 평가 및 기록, 사용자가 입력한 기타 임상정보
선택적 콘텐츠와 권한: 마이크를 이용한 음성 및 그 전사문, 카메라 또는 사진 보관함에서 선택한 이미지, 기기 연락처 선택기를 통해 사용자가 직접 선택한 연락처의 이름과 전화번호
로컬 정보: 직원 바코드와 일부 계산·설정 정보가 기기에 저장될 수 있습니다.

앱은 사용자의 정확한 위치를 수집하지 않으며, 기기 주소록 전체를 백그라운드에서 수집하지 않습니다. 연락처 기능을 사용하는 경우 사용자가 선택한 항목만 처리합니다.

4. 처리 위탁 및 제3자 서비스

운영자는 앱 기능 제공을 위해 아래 서비스 제공자가 운영자의 지시에 따라 정보를 처리하도록 할 수 있습니다.

Google Firebase 및 Google Cloud: 전화번호 인증, 데이터베이스, 서버 인프라 및 푸시 알림
OpenAI: 사용자가 음성·이미지·인공지능 기능을 선택한 경우 전사, 이미지 분석, 정보 추출 및 대화형 기능
Twilio: 활성화된 전화 알림 기능의 통신 처리

정보는 위 목적에 필요한 범위에서 국외 서버를 포함한 서비스 제공자의 시스템에서 처리될 수 있습니다. 운영자는 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며, 맞춤 광고나 제3자의 독자적 마케팅을 위해 제공하지 않습니다. 법적 의무, 사용자 또는 환자의 안전 보호, 권리 행사 또는 서비스 보안에 필요한 경우 법령이 허용하는 범위에서 공개할 수 있습니다.

5. 민감정보 및 의료정보

앱에는 환자 식별정보와 건강·진료 관련 정보가 입력될 수 있습니다. 승인된 의료 종사자는 소속 기관의 개인정보·의료정보 처리 기준과 적용 법령에 따라 필요한 최소한의 정보만 입력해야 합니다. 인공지능 기능을 사용할 때에는 해당 정보가 분석을 위해 전송될 수 있음을 고려해야 합니다. 앱의 계산·분석 결과는 의료인의 독립적인 판단을 대체하지 않습니다.

6. 보유 및 삭제

계정, 프로필, 당직 및 임상 업무 기록은 서비스 제공, 기관의 업무상 필요, 분쟁 대응 또는 법적 의무에 필요한 기간 동안 보유될 수 있습니다.
음성 또는 이미지는 선택한 기능을 수행하기 위해 전송됩니다. 운영자 서버는 원본 음성·이미지를 기능 처리 후 지속적으로 보관하도록 설계되지 않았으나, 생성된 전사문·분석 결과·임상 기록은 업무 기록의 일부로 보유될 수 있습니다.
기기에만 저장된 정보는 앱의 데이터 삭제 또는 앱 제거를 통해 삭제할 수 있습니다.
사용자는 아래 연락처로 자신의 계정 또는 개인정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 환자 진료기록 등 법령 또는 기관 정책상 보존이 필요한 정보는 즉시 삭제되지 않을 수 있습니다.

7. 보안

운영자는 HTTPS 전송 암호화, Firebase 인증, 접근 권한 통제, 기기 내 보안 저장소 등 합리적인 기술적·관리적 보호조치를 사용합니다. 다만 인터넷 전송 및 전자적 저장의 절대적인 보안을 보장할 수는 없습니다. 사용자는 계정과 기기의 접근 수단을 안전하게 관리해야 합니다.

8. 선택권과 권리

마이크, 카메라·사진, 연락처, 알림 권한은 운영체제 설정에서 철회할 수 있습니다. 일부 권한을 거부해도 앱의 다른 기능은 이용할 수 있으나 관련 기능은 제한될 수 있습니다. 개인정보의 열람·정정·삭제·처리 제한 또는 동의 철회를 요청하려면 아래 연락처로 문의해 주십시오.

9. 아동

앱은 승인된 성인 의료 종사자를 대상으로 하며 만 13세 미만 아동의 사용을 의도하지 않습니다. 아동이 사용자 계정을 통해 개인정보를 제공한 사실을 알게 된 경우 운영자는 확인 후 필요한 조치를 취합니다. 환자 관련 정보는 승인된 의료 사용자가 업무 수행 과정에서 처리하는 정보일 수 있습니다.

10. 변경 및 문의

서비스 또는 법적 요구사항의 변경을 반영하기 위해 본 방침을 업데이트할 수 있으며, 변경 시 이 페이지의 최종 업데이트 일자를 수정합니다.

Yonsei Neurology Privacy Policy

Summary: Yonsei Neurology is a restricted-use application that supports clinical workflows for authorized members of the Yonsei University Department of Neurology. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. We may process account and device information needed to operate the service, as well as contacts, voice, images, and patient-related clinical information that an authorized user chooses to submit.

1. Scope and service provider

This Privacy Policy applies to the Yonsei Neurology mobile application (package io.brainpill.yn) and related services provided by JoonNyung Heo under the service name Brainpill (“we,” “us,” or the “Service Provider”). The app is a workflow support tool for approved users in a healthcare organization. It is not a general consumer or patient-facing service.

2. Information we process

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, we may process:

Account and profile data: name, telephone number, optional email, department, role, internal directory identifier, and authentication identifier.
Device and app data: basic device platform and model information, Firebase authentication and push-notification tokens, notification and duty preferences, operational logs, and error information.
Work and clinical data: duty schedules, intended recipients, patient name and registration number, care location, stroke and procedure times, NIHSS, tPA, EVT, and other assessment or clinical information submitted by an authorized user.
Optional content and permissions: microphone audio and transcripts, images selected from a camera or photo library, and the name and telephone number of a contact specifically selected by the user through the system contact picker.
Local data: staff barcode and some calculation or preference information may be stored on the device.

The app does not collect precise location and does not upload an entire address book in the background. If you use the contact feature, only the contact you select is processed.

3. How we use information

Authenticate approved users and enforce access controls.
Provide duty schedules, staff directory, clinical calculators, patient and procedure workflow records, and other core features.
Deliver push notifications, telephone alerts, and workflow communications.
Transcribe or analyze user-selected audio, text, or images and generate requested AI-assisted results.
Secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the service and prevent misuse.
Comply with law and protect rights, safety, and service security.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers acting on our instructions to deliver app functions, including:

Google Firebase and Google Cloud for telephone authentication, databases, server infrastructure, and push notifications;
OpenAI for transcription, image analysis, information extraction, and conversational features when a user chooses an audio, image, or AI-assisted feature; and
Twilio to process enabled telephone-alert communications.

Information may be processed on provider systems, including systems located outside your country, only as needed for these purposes. We do not sell personal data or disclose it for personalized advertising or a third party’s independent marketing. We may disclose information where permitted or required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect patients, users, rights, or service security.

5. Sensitive and medical information

Authorized users may enter patient identifiers and health or care information. Healthcare users must submit only the minimum information required and comply with their organization’s privacy, medical-record, and security requirements and applicable law. Users should understand that information submitted to an AI-assisted feature may be transmitted for analysis. App calculations and AI-assisted outputs do not replace independent clinical judgment.

6. Retention and deletion

Account, profile, duty, and clinical workflow records may be retained while needed to provide the service, meet organizational needs, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Audio and images are transmitted to perform the selected feature. Our application server is not designed to retain the original audio or image after processing, but generated transcripts, analysis results, or clinical records may be retained as part of the workflow record.
Data stored only on the device can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of account or personal data by contacting us below. Information that must be retained under law or an organization’s medical-record policy may not be deleted immediately.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, Firebase authentication, access controls, and secure on-device storage. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their accounts and devices.

8. Choices and rights

You can revoke microphone, camera/photo, contact, and notification permissions in your operating-system settings. Refusing a permission may disable the related feature without preventing use of unrelated features. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.

9. Children

The app is intended for authorized adult healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal data through a user account, we will investigate and take appropriate action. Patient-related information may be processed by an authorized healthcare user as part of their professional duties.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. We will update the date shown on this page when we do.
